The parts of the set can be seen together with Adam Reed Tucker in the documentary "A LEGO Brickumentary" (2014), in which Adam Reed Tucker talks about his work with LEGO and trying to bring LEGO roller coaster sets to the market. Coaster Dynamix RollerCoaster Factory 110171-A was produced by Adam Reed Tucker and sold by Coaster Dynamix in 2013-2014 - the edition was limited to 1,000 worldwide.
